Bought my 1988 F150 (302 EFI) a couple weeks ago. Learned how to replace the gears in the passenger window motor to make it go up again and tonight I learned how to read all the OBD codes. All thanks to threads on this forum.
I'm sure you guys that already know what's up will lol but I'm really proud to have done these things. I'm a 53 y.o. computer nerd that knows virtually nothing about mechanics. I did manage to replace a head gasket on my Nova in high school (1980) with a lot of guidance but that's about it.
Anyways, I'm having a heck of a lot of fun learning how this truck works.
