Removed the top cover of my m5r2 transmission, replaced gasket, and fixed those stupid rubber plugs that cause it to leak.

I replaced the driver's side shock with a new one from Rancho that accomodates up to a 2" lift.

I started to do the passenger side but some jackwagon put a nut that is not a lugnut on, and I can't get it off with the tools I have. It was getting dark. I'll have to do the passenger side later.

It was immediately different. Obviously needed to be done.

I'm going to get either them Rough Country springs, or a set of F250 springs.

Got bored of the chipped black paint on the wheels. Thought I'd try something a little different.

Swapped out the old f150 badge for something a little cooler.

Changed the other shock, went cruising. Rides so much nicer...now i'm thinking of doing the rear next after getting the coils, or doing both once I get a nice afternoon again.

I also ripped out the "blown" speakers in the back, and found out that
A) They weren't blown
B) I don't care because Sony speakers are trash anyway
C) The assclown that used to have the truck cut the metal and shoved 6x9s in there, and the cone was pressed up against the plastic interior trim, causing the farting sound.

I'm rolling with whatever is in the doors, and that's because I didn't feel like taking the doors apart. The sound is kind of thin, so it's probably more Xplod trash, so I'll be doing something else eventually. My Outlander has an all Alpine system with an MTX sub in the back...I'm spoiled. Mitsubishi's stock stuff, AND their RF branded stuff is also trash.

rebuilt the rear brakes... both wheel cylinders were leaking brake fluid all over everything. braking feels a lot better now.

Needed to use the 4WD so I took it out to a Field. My 5yo was with me so I showed him how to make some rooster tails. He had a blast watching those 2 streams of dirt shoot up from the backend. Fun times.
