Would give you a real good idea if it's something you want to do more of and invest in better equipment. Just clean it REALLY well with lacquer thinner inside and out before using. They ship with silicone and oil all over inside them sand that won't fly with automotive paint. Clean it really good, buy some cheap paint or ask if they have any mistake mixed paint, get the reduce and catalyst, mix it up and have some fun. You will never rattle can again.
thats the gun i was going to practice with, i got several hoods and fenders laying around from trucks iv parted out so i have no shortage on practice panels lol. plans keep changing for me all the time, currently trying to get $ saved up for a powerstroke swap too. and i need a welder finally.

I know what you mean by plans changing... I never seem to have the time to do the things I want to do, something always comes up out somebody needs help with something else out heaven forbid I just simply take a break! LOL. That's one thing doing bodywork and so forth, for me anyway, you have to be in the mood for it, the right mindset....supposed to be enjoyable and fun, not something you dread doing. If you aren't into it....is going to show do just walk away from it for the day or whatever. Sounds like ya have some plans in the works.

I hate body work , I grew up in it, I was welding in Dad`s shop when I was 8,.
That and cutting wood are the things I mosr hate to do. But I am really good at them, around her you can earn survival money , but not make a living at either. I like working in the tire factory because I have to think and invent more.
We took Dad's 81 f100 out of the shop tonight so I can do the floor pans in my truck, It's a holiday weekend here in Canada, so I have an extra day to get it done, but Sunday is the last race in the 4x4 rally series so we can't miss that , so no work will get done Sunday. But I will get to see the Fabulous Flying Kaisers.

I have not been around much busy with life and such. Just thought I would update everyone on my War Machine. well I decided to take it off the road for this winter and much of this summer to start to really get it all buttoned up and restore it some as rust has gotten to the rear quarters some,

I got me a little red 98 Subaru forester to drive around in for my Daily driver. which is tottally decked out with tons of stickers and other rice things

My plans for my truck as follows.
get it started...Either my battery is dead or my trickle charger is....
3g conversion
Battery terminal upgrade
Axillary fuse Relay panel.
f250 springs front and rear
Re run the wiring for the off road lights as well as the Pa CB system.
Repaint the interior trim.
Attempt to Create my own brush guard/ bumper and finish my safari rack for it.
add more lights side facing and rearward. (if cash allows)
Get a Stickah and get it road legal this spring.

Today I just went and cleaned it up some and took inventory on what im going to need to get things rolling again on my War machine I might start a build thread documenting my trucks glorious return from the sidelines.

Pictures of my Forester just for fun Im over on the subaru forester.org forum with my project there named Project rice (or cheeping out every way possible) if anyone's interested for that much Awsomeness :P

Yep No rust! thats why i got it, 600 bucks no rust. needed a few little things vss needs a radiator soon the Fins are separating so thats bad. Factory cd player cruse keyless entry but I got to get a remote for it. all in all not a bad beater car.
My true love is my truck I miss driving it to the point of insanity. Going to be rewiring quite a few things on it Such as the Aux lights with thicker gauge wire and trying to tuck it in with the factory harness if at all possible. Ordering some gold battery terminals with 5 wire ports for running accessories from. as well as upgrading the Alternator to 130amps and 3g. down the road i want a 200amp as ill have more lights and a compressor out back too inflate tires and such. going to be awhile before that though. My forester I just plan on lowering it down on Impreza struts and swapping over the sway bar stuff and LCA mounts to make it geometrically sound for better handling.

Ha ha You going down and my Impreza is up on forester struts. Remember to leave a jumper lead off the terminals Seen a lot of guys ruin them when the had to be jump started.
