What did you do to your truck today?

No pics yet, I was tired of looking at it, but I got my smoked headlight assemblies installed today. What a PIA! I wouldn't have ordered them if I realized all of the work to get them in. I had to swap hardware from the old headlights to the new ones too. The hardware that came with the new assemblies was too short and I could even get close on the headlight alignment. I still have to get out tomorrow night and attempt to aim the headlights. Hopefully I won't have to pull the assemblies back off. Why didn't for make the alignment adjustments easier to get to? Anyway, they look awesome, just hoping the hard part is over.
Also had some interesting cussing matches with Progressive Insurance in dealing with my Kid's totalled out Chevy 4x4. The adjuster totalled the truck Friday and only wants to pay 80% of the value of the truck since the third vehicle in the wreck left the scene. Local law says that the other vehicle never made contact in the wreck and cannot be charged with anything and the guy that hit my son head on is at fault. Police report verifies that. On top of that, they are basing the value of his truck on JD Power Estimates. Louisiana 3rd Party Property Damage Laws say that they have to use NADA Retail Value
(La RS 32:207.13). Progressive says they follow their own rules and have never followed Louisiana law and never will. The adjuster said that his truck had oil from front to rear and must have a severe oil leak making it in poor pre-accident condition...................NO SH_T SHERLOCK! He was hit head on and the radiator was flattened in a 50 mph impact. There was transmission fluid everywhere! I called the State Insurance Commissioner Friday and was advised to call the State Prosecutor's Office on Monday and file criminal charges against Progressive for refusal to follow state law. Progressive is going to call me back on Tuesday with their Personal Injury Offer that they say might make me feel better about the lower value of the truck and the 80% offer. I plan to have a state prosecutor on the phone along with the conversation being recorded. SO furious with this crap right now! Two different insurance reps from Progressive telling me that they do not care what the law says, "It's our way or you won't get a penny".

An Amazon Seller.............Movementauto. The hard part was removing the rusted clips holding the headlight adjusters in the core support. I wound up pulling the core support where I had better access to the clips and it went allot faster. If I'd have done that before spending two hours fighting to get to the clips, it would have been easier. Only good thing about it was......two hours of frustration = 6 beers.....well, maybe one or two more than that. Lol
