Sorry for so many questions but I have a 5.8 and not sure how to do my new system. I want new cat from rockauto, FM super 40, 2.5" duals out the back.
I don't like out the back exhaust on these trucks..because the bumper sits lower so from a side view..you see the pipe because it angles down

It sounds pretty good IMO. It had a horrible exhaust leak at the factory little "H" pipe with the o2 sensor. Its a stock 302. I don't have emissions to worry about, so it has no cats. They are ran side by side on the pass. side, with the turndowns right before the rear axle. I'll try to post up a video.

I replaced a leaking wheel cylinder last night. I have always been scared of working on drum brakes but it was surprisingly simple. I finally joined the forum after having the truck for a year and reading these forums for over 6 months. I would like to thank everyone for some ideas, tips, and also some good laughs

my truck was white so it was tricky. after sanding the flares down, i taped around them really carefully and masked about 3 feet away from the flares because the liner is messy. then i used black primer and painted them black. after that i bought dupli color bed guard from autozone it comes in a spray can or a bucket and roller. but i liked the spray can since i was just doin the fenders, it was like 12 bucks. one can did all 4 flares and i still had some in the bottle. after about 4 light coats, it was perfect Its held up pretty good, but ill keep ya informed. heres a pic but its not the best

OK...saw a youtube video on how to gain Horsepower from modifing your fresh air intake box. i did it and WOW...What I did was drill 1" holes in the box UNDER the filter so it would suck in more air. what a difference i felt and heard right away...oh yeah...painted all parts and put back.
