I port matched my upper and lower intake when I added my spacer didn't notice much of a difference.
If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost of having that done?

I have access to some gt40 heads at little cost and was wanting to know if it was worth it to swap them in.

I don't see why not. You must take them to a machine shop to make sure they are true and no ultra sonic ccracks. While they are apart put in new springs and valve guide seals. For some extra pep go ahead and put on some 1.7 rockers. Do you have any other mods now or plan on doing.

Yeah it burns oil a bit and the walls at a bit scarred. So why not go ahead and bore it out. This is going to happen once I get the rings in. Ill put the heads on along with boring it out. I've got a quote of $500 for the machine work without assembly labor.
