transmission slips
I have a 94 4x4 with a 5.0 and e4od and when slightly getting on the throttle it slips and then slams into second gear. The other gears are fine. Do I need to rebuild?is that the only transmission I can use to replace it?

I have the exact same problem with my '88 2wheel drive F-150...yes it will need to be replaced or rebuilt...don't bother tryin to change filter and fluid it's a waste of money I did that twice and it fixed it for about 1 week then same thing all over agian!
I am trying to find out what will cross ref.,years,models,and tranny types...
when I find out more I'll let you know.
