What is the best way to test that coil? Besides knocking myself on my *** by grabbing the end of a plug wire lmao!
I'd start w/ through the brake PB vac hose to concentrate on the combustion chambers & the rest in the gas first. Should take care of that bottom end flat spot. Deal w/ the throttle intake later.

Follow up w/ Lucas injector cleaner/ upper cylinder lubricant added to gas, every 5 tanks of gas afterwards. If you buy it by the quart, you get five applications for $11. Otherwise, it's $5/ application if purchased in single app. bottles.

I used to use my little brother to test my coils. Doubt that's your problem.

What octane do you use?

87 since that is 4.15 around here as it is. I have been using lucas and got a quart for 8.99 last time I bought it. Just wanted to make sure and rule it out is all. I do not have a little brother or sister. I am the youngest and my brothers and sisters do not live near me lol.

You may be able to get an older sibling to test your coil, but usually only once per sibling...unless they used to take the "short" bus to school. Can usually get two or three coil testings out of them.

Well after the seafoam it seems ti idle better and the pick up is a lot better. Still does that shudder while in overdrive and trying to go up a hill. I am beginning to wonder if the trans maybe slipping a bit.

Well, since you survived the Seafoam adventure. I recommend another fine product from the same company, "Transtune"!

Add it after the change? Nope. Add now before the fluid change. Put at least 50 miles on it before the change. 100 miles would be better. You will notice drivability improvement during that time...Then change the fluid!

Will do man. I will be getting the stuff for the change now and can wait to do it until after 100 miles. Hopefully this solves it and we can finally close this mess up lol.
