Default VSS problems

looking for some advice here I have always had a problem with the speedometer bouncing or not working at all on my 95 f150. I replaced the psom and vss sensor neither helped I finally ran new wires all the way from the vss to the connector on the psom.

Now my speedometer works great but I am still getting a code 452. it shifts fine and drives good I just want this damn light off. my only thought is because the abs and cruise controllers are no longer receiving the vss signal maybe thats why I'm getting a code 452?

btw the 95 psom takes the vss signal and converts it for the trans computer so the abs and cruse dont affect the trans computer but can the abs module and cruse not having a vss signal throw throw the 452?

Solved!! I found a spot in the harness next to the battery that a mouse chewed all four wires for the O2 sensor I repaired the wires that solved my code 172 and so far no more code 452. I wouldn't think they would be related but I guess something in the speedometer shares power with the o2 sensor heater. this TSB ties it all together

TSB 95-5-21 Fuse

ISSUE: On some vehicles the HO2S wires in the 12A690 (subassembly of the 14B060 battery cable) harness may become chafed and the vehicle could exhibit any one of the following conditions:
ABS light on
Speedometer inoperative
Back-up lamps inoperative
Daytime running lamps inoperative
Trailer battery charge relay inoperative
MIL on, displaying Codes: 172, 173 or 41 for HO2S failure
Inadvertent PCM Self-Test
