Default Vibration of the truck at 55mph?

My 1990 ford f150 just started vibrating going 55mph. It's like when you drive over rumble strips on the side of the highway! Anybody know what's going on?

Maybe a carrier bearing on the driveshaft?

It might. I dont know yet, I brought it to the shop today to get it inspected and I told them about it so tommarow it should be fixed. If not i can probably fix it.

Strange how it all of a sudden started doing it. Um I had a similar issue. Just a different speed my vibration was at 75mph I corrected it by removing my drive shaft and turning it 180 degrees. It's a 2 piece drive shaft so in the middle of disassembling it I though to my self well this might be pointless but I did it anyway and it actually did it. Maybe the shaft was off balance. I still have no clue but it did fix it.

I might try that! Is it only this model ford that does it or what?

My truck once vibrated horribly on the interstate, I had mud stuck in the backs if my rims. Even after I thought I got it all out, it vibrated. I just didn't get it all out lol.

No I haven't fixed it yet. I think it is the transmission not shifting right. If I let off the gas and then hit the gas again it stops vibrating.
