WOW did a little research on the bumper, looks lie what you have there is an early model warn winch bumper to include the M8274 winch.

pto winches are are only good for wreckers, you wouldn't want one on a normal truck. first your trans has to be in neutral, so you cant use the truck and tire spin to help the winch along, and if the truck cant run at all you cant use the winch at all.
second you would have to mount the winch in almost a strait line with the pto output on the trans, unless you run some jack shaft setups, which in turn will add more to go wrong.

sorry, i musta skipped over that, i seen a post about someone that thought it was home made, i was more excited about the winch being a M8274.

The ones I've seen are in the center. We had one on our old 78 Chevy 1ton it worked fine until the gears got stripped

lol it happens, yea i know nothing about those style winches, they all look the same to me.

I didn't know anything about the bumpers. What looked custom built to me ends up being a golden find for a Warn Classic with winch. Go figure, learn something new.
