Ugly Headlights

Here's a few I took a minute ago. From my cell so the quality isn't too great.
The fogs put out a more yellow light, but I almost like it more than the bright white look. They don't burn your eyes, and they put out a pretty wide spread beam of light. Eventually I can take some night shots.

I tinted the tail lights too, leaving just the white reverse light squares and the long vertical reflective strips untinted. I think it gives a good look. Especially with the front and back both being done, and the light still shines through just fine. It was spray can tint, I believe rustoleum lens tint.

Just call me sean. Really
Looks pretty good! Wouldn't work for my truck, but that's about all we can do headlight wise on these things. Here's my front end, look familiar?
And, have you thouught of spraying the side markers too? They stick out like a sore thumb against the black headlights

I was going to tint it all at first, but I kind of like the contrast. It makes both the black and the orange stand out more. Plus that would take away from the reflectiveness, and if I were to go through an insurance claim or get pulled over, I think that would pose a problem. That's also why I left the reflective strip untinted on the tail lights. It gives a good contrast and it keeps it reflective and keeps me out of trouble.
I have police drive behind me all the time and I've never had an issue. Knock on wood. You can't even tell the headlights are tinted once you turn them on, they just look a little bit dimmer. I'd actually like to get an illuminted ford logo up front, I think that would look slick, but I don't have the patience or free time to toy with it.

Go with the chrome lined light assembly.
I had some black/tint covers for my headlights (wrapped around the side and covered the blinkers too) they looked awesome. Also had covers for the tailights that were slant cut. Sharp. The tinted headlights are illegal in Washington State.

Hey mustang and greybox, can you post pics of your trucks with the lights on? Perhaps at dusk? Then after dark post a pic of the lights hitting the road? I really like this mod, but want to see how much candle power you are loosing to it. And how obvious it will be to johnny law.
