Default Ubolt nut size

What size nut is on the factory U-Bolts on the rear axle of the 1992-96 F-150 (UBolts around the rear axle to the leaf spring) and what size nut is in the bottom of the coil spring of the 4wd front springs? Does anyone know or have access to sockets big enough to test with and let me know?

my sockets are not nearly deep enough, and I only have metric wrenches at the moment, but the 22mm fit perfectly... so should be whatever the SAE counterpart is.

also, I have a 92 2wd, in case the nuts are different

edit: converts to 7/8 I think

Thanks I've actually found more metric nuts and bolts on these things than American. The frustrating part is this generation was still the mut of Metric/American. I think they are all now strictly Metric but not sure. Do you happen to know the bottom nut on the front coil spring size? My plan is to find a junked F150 4wd and steal the lift blocks (mine was a conversion) and a junked F250 2wd to steal the coil springs (to lift front/level to new raised rear) this should also solve my negative camber problem.

22 sounds right. 7/8 actually converts to 22.225 which would be almost .25mm too big so if 22 fits just right then it is a 22. Another reason I suspect it, is the next size down is 55/64ths which is WAY too odd and only 21.82 which would probably be too snug and not fit at all. Thanks so much. If you can check the front coil spring (the bottom nut that actually bolts it to the axle) I would be MOST appreciative. I hope it is the same size.

I've got a 2wd, so I am not sure if the 4wd is the same, but mine is larger than the 22mm, but that's the largest wrench I've got. it looks like 24mm or 26mm... just a little bit larger than 22mm

OK mine looks similar like it could be 24 or 26. I picked up a 22 wrench today (easier go get a cheater pipe on a wrench than wrecking a good 1/2 drive rachet) plus AZ only had a 3/8" drive 22mm socket for some reason. The 1/2" drive only went to 21 for some reason. Thanks for the help though. I might find someone with some huge sockets and try to find out.
