I probably won't be doing this for a while because I don't want to buy just the doors I want to get an XLT parts truck and there hard to come by, also I really don't have the money for a parts truck right now but I should in a couple weeks. I will keep you posted though, hope its as easy as what Sean said to do.

I agree with him, it should not be that difficult. After all, they are they same truck, they just have different options.

How much work is involved in making the rear manual sliding window power? Where would I find a kit for this?

We converted my dad's old 1991 F150 Custom into an XLT Lariat with a junkyard donor with the exception of power windows and locks. We found an XLT with the nicer door panels that had crank windows. The Custom we had was the very stripped down version with no headliner or plastic panels other than front pillars. We drilled the holes for all of the XLT interior plastic, installed a headliner, replaced the single bulb dome light with the chrome one with map lights, replaced the old cracked base model dash with the Lariat dash and wood trim, even took out the vinyl floor and had a shop install new matching carpet. At the end the only thing left was the vinyl bench which we had covered in new leather. Oh and it was also a color change... from grey interior to blue. I have pics of the interior after the conversion but no before shots unfortunately.

Could you post the pics, I would like to see how it turned out especially the seat. I read somewhere that manufacturers stopped producing the kits for the power rear window because of poor sales, I was also thinking about doing that and one idea I had was to use the mechanics from A bronco rear window.

The seat mod is on my "To-Do" list as well. I hate that Non-Split bench.

Yea, I bought lightning seats for mine but I'm not at the point in my project to put them in.

I just found a parts truck that seems to be in good condition from what the guy said, there were no pictures, but the interior color is tan so I was wondering if painting the interior would be good/doable solution.

I use SEM finishes on my interior and they're as durable as the OE color coating.

Sounds good. The guy just put pictures on the listing for me and it looks great now I just need to come up with some money to buy it, I would have the money in a week but it will probably be gone by then.
