Default Thanks for the help and even the funny replies.

I fixed it with the help of a friend. It appears that the documentation I have read here and on other online sources is incorrect. The sources I read said that for the 96 the flasher relay (silver dome thingy with plug prongs) was on the backside of fuse panel yet it's actually the one on the front side that controls the blinking. I simply left the back one alone (that I initially replaced) and then replaced the front one with the one I removed from the back at the start. Voila! :P

Thanks.

Thanks. It appears that what I read online was incorrect. It's not the silver plug on the back of the fuse box that controls the blinking. It's the one on the FRONT of the fuse box. I left the back one alone with the replacement I made earlier and then used the one I removed from the back to replace the front. Success!

EDIT: I think the hazard flasher is the one on the front....

OK, I know on my 01 Ford the light just stayed on, no flashing. But I guess that was just the inside and opposite end of whichever end blew out.
