lift now have back up problems

Default lift now have back up problems

ok so my 6 in lift is finally done but i noticed when i back up my tires roll inwards. what did i do wrong or is that just a ford problem and what can i do to fix it.
when i back up the front of the tires roll into each other?
its weird.
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

When my ball joints were bad my truck did the same thing, it also rolled outwards while going forward.

Have you had it lined up yet as when I did mine I had the same problem,after alignment was fine.I had to order new adjustable alignment keys to get it right.

i still need an alignment. but after i did the lift i measured the tires the stuff was all good but ill take it for an alignment and see what happens

sounds dumb but it does connect to the front endand im just trying to check all possible errors

I don't think the sway bar has anything to do with alignment. After any lift, it is always a good idea to get the tires aligned to adjust for the new angles.

I have had the same problem with my truck, and it stops me from being able to go any faster than 5-10mph in reverse. Just curious, the bracket that bolts to the crossmember that drops the passenger side axle; did you weld the bracket to the crossmember AND bolt it in place?

no just bolted them why u think if i welded them it would help?

a buddy mig welded mine, and he had no idea what he was doing, (he owned the truck before i did), and the tiny welds broke. Have someone arc weld it, and your tires will behave, well they should, mine did!
