Default truck always goes right

my truck has pulled to the right since i got it about a year ago.the tire on that side even wore out on the outer part but that coulda been from lack of air.i got an alignment and put a new tire on but it still pulls to the right, maybe even a bit more.why is it doing this and how do i fix it?

I ve had 2 alignments two used tires and mine still pulls to the left. My guess is the springs.

Mine did that when I had a worn spindle on the front right wheel when I had my 4x4 f250. but if you dont have 4x4 then you wouldnt have that problem. and youd hear a humming sound too.

The front end will align great if the front end has been maintained over the years. I would replace bearings, races, balljoints, seals and all bushings if they've never been replaced. I did mine one side at a time since it digs into the ole wallet so much. Thats the price we pay for having an older vehicle. Hey, beats having a giant new truck payment.

Im not sure if yours is four wheel drive or not but it will cost well over a grand for a shop to replace all those things in the front end on one of these trucks. Its a big PIA to do it yourself but alot cheaper. I believe it cost me around $400 per side just for parts for mine. But I did spend extra on better seals, balljoints,uv joints.

A Hayne's manual. All auto parts stores carry them. They run around $20.

the ball joints in the front can be a pain. I did mine and youll most likely need a press. I needed a big *** puller/press to get my front spindle out of the hub but you wont have that problem.
