How can i check the ignition control module. I cant get the truck to replicate the problems its very random. It has done it two more times over the weekend. I scanned for codes today and get insignificant EGR flow and spourt circuit open.

Haynes guide lists the voltage specs for the TPS. EVERYTHING runs off the TPS as posted above...

Dusted off the connections to my TPS and a few other electrical issues and my truck has run good since.

So I pulled the vacuum hose at the brake booster and no issues. Of course brakes are impossibly stiff. Now I will test a directional valve, but I suspect a bad brake booster.

Have you changed the fuel filter ? Also check your wiring under the hood . The water temp sensor wires sometimes go bad at the sensor .
