I'm hoping to have my new Trans in my truck in the next week, and I'm wanting to hook up a Trans temp gauge. I have a feeling I might have overheated my old Trans when playing in mud so I'd like to prevent that from happening again. What would be the best way to hook one up? I'd also like to install a coolant temp gauge that tells me the actual temperature. If it helps my truck is a 93 f150 4x4 5.0 e4od

Mine has a hole drilled in the trans pan and a sensor mounted there that goes to a gauge in my dash.
There's probably other places to mount the sensor but that's probably the most accurate.
