Transmission Pan Leaking.

What else could be leaking where the engine connects to the tranny, if not the main seal... Also, if it is the main seal, is there really anyway to fix this problem, w/out having to take the tranny off... i dont think after the 20 hrs it took us to swap and repair the few things we did, i would want to try and replace the seal, that might just leak again... vs' just adding alittle fluid every other day.
