Well it looks like it was really really badly neglected the sitting in wd-40 over night loosed it up and i managed to work it enough to get it to shift through all the ranges 4 high 4 low and neutral while in park, however it seems to shift much better in Neutral

I used some more pb blaster on it and im moving it through the ranges again. Looks like it works fine just was really gummed up.

just goes to show you that enough lube can get anything done

Awesome, now just mess with it every so often so it doesn't seize up again.

yeah that is for sure. What is the best lubricant to use for that? wd-40 tends to get gummed up and collect dirt and grime. would White lithum be a better choice or is there something better for it?

Its nice and freed up now shifts fine in Park now just needed to work what ever it was out. thanks for the help! now i just need to get a shift linkage bracket for my other truck haha

Started with PB on mine, use White Lithium so I don't have to PB again.

Mine was pretty gummed up. I shot the white lithium down through the shift boot to start, then got underneath after it loosened up a bit. 4x4 shifts into all ranges and works fine now.

I was pretty amazed at how bad it was gummed up, i crawled underneath and spryed a good 1/4th of a can on every moving bit. and still didnt budge it took a half can of wd-40 sitting over night and my giving it a few good pulls to losten it just enough to get into Neutral Ill be keeping both shift likages on my trucks well lubed from now on!
