Default tranny swap help M5OD to ZF S5 47

i need a new transmission and got a good price on a zf and picked it up today. got it home and found out the zf is about 5 inches shorter than the M5 as the m5 has a sliding yoke and the zf does not. how would i get the zf to bolt up? do i need a new driveshaft/ hanger bearing. the truck its going in is a 93 f150 flareside (same wheelbase as a shortbed)any help would be appreciated. thanks, kyle

i think you will need a new drive shaft if you pulled the trans out of a truck see if the drive shaft is still there and take it. you might be able to just swap out the piece that holds the yolk and U joint out so it will work if there is enough travel.
