Default tranny leak

1990 f150 with e4od tranny, for some reason when the tranny is put in a high pressure situation it leaks from what looks like the front but I think its coming from the top. The situations I've noticed this happen in is highway driving 60plus mph for extended time or another time backing a boat up a hill it leaked out about a quart both times please let me know of any ideas on what to do to fix this. I was thinking modulator valve or release valve or something but I don't know much about transmissions. All help is appreciated.

Trans isnt overfilled is it? Sounds like its coming from vent ontop of case, when fluid heats up. If level isnt over filled, would try a better tranny cooler.

It isn't overfilled, I guess it could be getting too hot I could buy a bigger tranny cooler. I just didn't know if there might be some pressure release vaccuum or something.
