well its a crap day op here in Maine I headed down to Portland today when i got in my truck there was a puddle of water on my floor mat my drivers side vent window is leaking is there any way to restore the rubber around the windows? I doesn't help the fact that i park on a slant

To restore it, I am not sure except to try to put some kind of silicon sealant. It would probably be the best thing to just get new rubber at LMC its $30 but if it bothers you I guess its worth it. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fd/full.aspx?Page=15

it bothers me just because the water is going to freeze in the winter and start messing up stuff and besides my speakers are sitting right under the leak.

Only way to fix it right is to get a new seal, unless the pivot is broken or the lock is loose.

I was thinking the latch is loose if i push the window its fine but if i just close it with the latch like i normally do i leaks is there a way to tighten the latch? or am i making a parts run tomorrow
the rubber looks fine not cracked like the normal window rubber... I really should replace them...

You can always stick a matchbook between it.

I've never had that apart. I would take it apart and see what can be done, see what's wrong if anything.

yeah lol mine has a nice big hole under the seat its great during the summer i get a nice breeze if it would stop raining up here it wouldn't bother me much at all i think im going to start going to the weather mans house and shouting your wrong again jack ***!

My seat has a big hole under it too! I have a rubber floormat under the carpet to keep out water when I drive through puddles hahaha
