I think these will stick out about 1" more than the factory wheels. IIRC, the factory wheels had about 6 mm positive offset, these have 19 mm negative offset. Negative offset means the wheels are centered outboard of the hub mounting surface. Extreme negative offset causes some handling issues such as steering wheel kickback, and extra stress on everything (read: wheel bearings). On the other hand, it can help keep wide tires from rubbing on radius arms and such.

I honestly would not worry about running these rims, they should be just fine. Just be sure you have good inner and outer wheel bearings, and keep them well greased. There are plenty of rims out there that have far more negative offset than these. For instance, the 15x10s that came with my truck had 2.75" backspacing and at maybe 60 to 70 mm of negative offset, just a really deep dish. I sold the rims for a few reasons: they chewed through wheel bearings, they threw too much mud on the sides of my truck, I didn't like the look, and I didn't want to be committed to always using super wide tires.

Backspacing and offset are related, offset refers to the departure of the hub mounting surface from the centerline of the tire and rim. Backspacing refers to spacing from the back (inside) edge of the rim to the mounting surface.

Long story short, I think those rims will be fine. It all depends what you are going for. They will give you a tiny bit wider stance without being a maintenance or handling nightmare. I went for 16x8s because I felt I'd have a better selection of tires that way, and I liked the look. Nothing wrong with 15s though.

Are you referring to the Cragars in the link? Because I don't think 19 mm of negative offset isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. Also, don't most 15x10s stick out farther than 15x8s? Seems like most of the 15x10s I've seen have a really deep dish.

The first picture is what my truck looked like with 15x10s (31" x 10.50 tires should never have been on such a wide rim, that's how it was when I got it!) with only 2.75" of backspacing. Ridiculous negative offset on those. It really didn't even look excessive to me until I measured the backspacing on one of the rims. The second picture is with 16x8s with zero offset (about 4.25" backspacing) and about 33" tires. The ones you posted are only going to stick out 19 mm more than mine if you go by the offset, or 1/2" more if you go by the backspacing. They won't stick out nearly as bad as my x10s did.

@ Jstaz, what's wrong with the wagon wheels you have? I don't really see how the Cragars would be an improvement over those, they're just another set of steel rims with shiny stuff on them. I think the wagon wheels look good on your truck! If you really want a change, I'd either go for something blacked out, or aluminum. But then again, that's just my tastes.

To find out your rim size, look at your tire size. If it's anything like 31x10.50x15 or 235/75r15, then you have a 15 inch wheel. The last number is always the wheel size

And if those are 15s, and you're taking the tires off of them, I may be interested in taking them off your hands
