Default Time crunch

Like many of you, im sure, im short on time ..... The mans got me workin 14 hour days for close to nothing.... Please help... I have a 1993 f150 4x4, 5.0... My baby was running great til on the way home last night... Had a slight misfire... For awhile, but nothin major til last night... 5 miles from the house, all of a sudden valve clatter from the right bank... Idles alright but under load above 1000 rpm rattles like a diesel.... Most likely cause? Any input? Please assist... Got limited time to fix and my only mode of transport to work.... Oh, engine still running cool, oil pressure steady at 50 psi...

pull that valve cover off. could be a bent pushrod, broken spring, ruined lifter etc.

Check for a cracked exhaust manifold. Mine had the same issue and come to find out the manifold was cracked. Easy fix if that is the problem.

I had a worn cam that acted like that, and it came on suddenly , a compression test showed two cylinders had really high compression , and when i tore into the motor the rocker arms were loose on those holes. I drove it like that for a few weeks until i could change the cam.
