Default thinking about building and selling bumpers

I'm just curious if you guys would be interested in some custom built front or rear bumpers. Ill post pics of some of my stuff. If your interested let me know what you think they are worth. The reason I'm doing this is because I think that companies that do build bumpers charge outrageous amounts of money. I want to provide cheap bumpers. Obviously I'm no professional but I can build a great base or frame, painted or not, for you to build off of. I'm not too confident in building huge ellaborate creations but if you have an idea, I can construct something based off of that. And shoot you a price. Ill put light mounts, winch mounts, pre runners and such on. One thing I won't do is skid plates.

Price the materials and your time to construct and make sure you don't screw yourself.

there are 2 people in my area that make bumpers and sell them on CL. but they usually want 600+ since they build them close to the road armor bumper specs. id be interested if the price was right.

I would be interested, but I would like a little more there than what you got, like some fillers or somethin. There is a couple people here in des Moines craigslist that will build bumpers, but they want like 600 for what you got

I was thinking about 200-300 depending on the build, seeing as its just a frame, i cant charge much more than that. Then you can add all the sheet metal you would want. Ill get pictures of the welds later today. I can tell you I hit two deer with my first bumper and it didn't move. It takes about 2-3 hours to build one. Possibly longer depending on what you need. I know what it costs to build one, and I won't be making much profit but that's not the point. I don't care all that much about the profits. I have a day job for that. I appreciate the interest.
