Is there an O ring between master cylinder and brake booster ?
1993 2WD F150.
Can anyone tell me if there's a rubber o ring between the master cylinder and the brake booster ?
Ive got a new master cylinder to fit and no O ring came with it. I saw on Amazon that there's an O ring in the AC Delco part picture but none was included. Am trying to find out before switching the cylinders as i don't want to get half way through the job without knowing/having whats needed.
Thanks in advance.

No. It's vented so that any fluid leaks from the MC drain onto the ground, instead of being forced into the booster.

If it was sealed, you'd be buying a booster, too. Because they vented that joint, you only have to buy a MC.

the o-ring that was supplied is for the adapter piece that goes on the side of the master cylinder for one of the hard lines. I know cause I just did this job. dont throw it away you are going to need it.
