Exclamation Starter issues. Help ASAP please!!!!

Hey, I recently had a starter go in my truck. For grad my girlfriend's mom bought me a rebuilt starter from Napa. It turned out to be a faulty one, so I recieved another one. I just put it in and went to turn over my truck and all I get is a clicking noise. I even hooked my truck up to jumper cables, no luck. If you have any ideas about what it might be, suggest anything and I'll give it a shot. I'm supposed to be heading out of town soon to get my new trailer so help soon would be awesome. Thanks!!!

*Check out my profile for pics of my newly rebuilt truck!*

That's what I was thinking as well, how do I test to see if it's good or not? Could I have the key turned on and touch the two terminals or?

I have replaced the starter and the solenoid on the fender, and also put a different battery out of another vehicle in. I still get a clicking noise and nothing is happening.

ok you can check the soleniod by touching the 2 biggest lugs on solenoid with 2 screwdrivers and it should crank over key off ... and crank up key on ..please wear some safety glasses .this is bypassing the solenoid ..if not check your ground wire from battery to engine block also doesnt the starter have a solenoid on it too ..
