96 f150 5.8l efi vacuum routing
Hey guys so just finished overhauling my 351w and finally got it back in the bay and mounted up and almost have all the other bits and pieces connected and back together but I need help figuring out how all the vacuum lines are routed through the truck. I bought this truck with the top of the engine (lower intake manifold and up) taken apart along with other lines cut and missing so I have no idea where any vacuum lines run to. I've seen other people ask about this but any pictures that are on here or anywhere for that matter look like they were taken with the first camera that had color. And I can't understand what the sticker for the routing says so if someone can please help a fellow obs owner out and get some good pictures with good details about where they're supposed to go to it would be much appreciated. Here are some pics of the engine just for the fun of it. 1996 ford f150 xlt 5.8l 351w 4x4

That's a unique paint scheme...
The vacuum map on the VECI label is laid out just like the engine, viewed from the front. Post pics of your VECI label.

This shows the vacuum lines for most EFIs:

But '96 has several differences. Click this to browse the photos of my '96 5.8L:

On my '93 5.8L, I'm replacing all the vacuum lines with thick-walled color-matched silicone.

Yea I wanted something a little different and something that would pop out and when you look in the engine bay it sure does pop. I got my brothers friend coming by later today and he has a 90s bronco with the 5.0 in it so I'm gonna pretty much copy his vacuum lines and see if there's anything else missing.

That won't work - '96 is very different. Browse those photos. The original vacuum harness is shown.
