Default Sound system short :(

I Put an aftermarket sound system in the truck a while back and now it's telling me there's a mis wiring somewhere. Now I took a look through MOST of where I thought there could be a problem, but I didn't find anything. (no wires cut, wire on metal, etc..) just wondering if you guys had any idea as to why this could be happening... I'm gunna go crazy!!

No way of knowing without knowing how you wired it. All I can say is check you splices, connections and grounds. Make sure no wires are pinched and everything is wired to the correct sources ( battery , switched, ground etc. ).

^This.

But even if you check all your power and remote and memory and ground connections for your receiver and it still won't work, then check your speaker connections. A tiny piece of neg or pos wire could be touching it's other half barely. This can cause your receiver to enter "Protect Mode" which prevents you from crossing speaker output signals cause that will damage your receiver. If you check your head unit wires and it's all good then check all the speaker connections for what I explained. If that doesn't work then maybe try swapping another head unit in to see if yours is defective.

Just had a thought. I had speakers in a truck that bumped the fender behind the magnet causing the speaker wires to short. Basically check all the wires. Make it easy on yourself and use a meter or a logic probe.

Thanks guys, I'll have to check it out again. I figured it'd be hard to give a diagnosis, but I appreciate the help

Every time (4 different times now) I have installed an aftermarket head unit in a 90-94 Ford or Lincoln there have been problems similar to what you are describing. All four were not "power" side but output side. Both trucks and other two Lincoln Town Cars; I have to run new speaker wires and did not use the factory speaker wiring. Not sure if you have an amp wired in or if you're using the deck to power the speakers? But try replacing the speaker wires and see if that solves the problem.
