Agreed, ether lets help the OP safely remove the system or properly repair it. And I believe the OP wants it repaired

your right I do appoligize for what I have said on this mans thread not regarding the issue even if my original comment or reply wich was my first on this thread was jokingly agreeing with said self proclaimed man about said thread on topic with a response in the form of a poo flinging monkey from said man. I do appoligize for standing up for myself when some clown who don't know me decides to degrade me online in a semi public setting.... your right I am sorry. p.s. did some research with the smog pump deleted you can get about 4 to 6 miles to the gallon better and that's just a consensus of people who have actually done it some say up to 13. but i think he was tripping lol ,,, you all have fun now

I thought we were here to help each other better fix and maintain our trucks, I always try to help, even when the info I give is wrong, (and I try to admit when it is) and I try to learn from others here to correct my info. That said there are threads her for opinions. I try to only voice an opinion on topic ie. "will something work or not", not name call or belittle others if there option is different than mine, everyone has an option on any topic. I'm like you in a lot of ways FUfarm, but I am also like a lot of others here also, I get frustrated and want to defend some things and not others, But I also choose what I will defend and how I will defend it. Just because someone attacks what I said does not always require a response. You are right it goes back to respect, respect for the OP. They had a question and out of respect for the OP we should try to answer that question, sometimes we need more information then the OP provides, so we ask questions, make suggestions based on the limited information provided, or wait for someone with more insight on the problem to speak up. You are right this is TRUCK forum we are here to talk about truck, but we are also human so we wonder off topic, and yes sometime bicker, that said we need to get back on topic and HELP this OP and all the others we can and share our collective knowledge about truck. In another thread you gave a good "old school" trick for checking compression, I thanked and committed on it. those type of things are not always getting passed on and they need to be. This forum allows "the old hands" to pass on the "old school" tricks to the younger/less experienced folks who want the knowledge we have.Do you know all the trick, no and neither does anyone else individually, but collectively we know a lot and this and other forums allow us to share that collective knowledge. I quoted you FUfarmtruck not to single you out but as an example not to belittle, insult, or "turn you off" the forum, but as an example of how far off topic we have gotten.
Ok, time to get off the soapbox and get back on topic
And yes there are spelling errors

also want to put when you remove it make sure you keep all mounting bolts and bottom bracket you will need these if you CHOOSE! lol to remove it the delete pulley wich you can find on summit in the stang section all running gear on the front of the block is the same as a mustang so look up air pump delete if i rememberd correctly it was like 40 buck shipped and took ten minutes after the pump was out wich took about a half hour . and you can run stock and the same belt is used for the 5.4 tritons and 4.6 if im not mistaking that does happen though i actually think i may be wrong but ill let that fuel the next debate lol
