Question Smog Delete Help?

Just wanted to know if I could delete the Emissions Connectors & Hoses next to the Ign. Coil? The air pump isnt hooked up and some hoses are plugged except for the Egr.

Yes, those are nothing more than vacuum switches for the smog system. To delete those you will have to cap off the vacuum lines to them and delete the ERG Assembly. Summit Racing has the plate you will need. If you really want to get fancy you can order the smog pump delete pully and remove all the ERG tubing. I am currently in the process of doing so and will get some pictures up when its done. You will have a Check Engine light but if you know your engine well enough, you dont need that. The only sensor the truck MUST have is the O-2 Sensor and one other but I forget its name.... once my engine is back together, those switches there will NOT be re-installed haha!

If you trace the hoses you'll find that theres only a couple that are needed once you delete the smog bs. I completely removed all the unnecessary hoses. That really cleans it all up alot.
