Also the timing light is easier. $20 at harbor freight people. C'mon buy the tools your truck needs it does a lot for you. BTW a vacuum gauge is also an indispensable tool. Also under $20. Or you can bring to my shop and ill charge you an hour of labor for the diagnostic.

I know there are vids on youtube for timing bumps, but maybe one specifically for the 4.9l? Its the same procedure for all the engines but for some reason it seems to baffle people when all you really have to do is follow instructions?

I tell this to everyone I know, I work cheap but I don't work for free. Tools are expensive. Which reminds me that I need a new vacuum gauge

haha Ill use my go pro hero cam and strap it to my forhead
