I am not sure if my numbers are correct. I am less concerned with the actual displacement. At this point I just want my working truck back. I want to go with this motor, since it is a fresh rebuild and from a reputable source. Did i mention he is willing to help install it for free? Awesome!

I plan on not installing the EGR as well on this new engine. I purchased some Hooker headers and I do not believe this has a spout for the EGR. So what can I do to compensate for the lack of O2 depleted air to lean out the mixture? And the CEL code that will be thrown?
I certainly won't mind keeping my intake manifold clean of soot.

you wont feel any difference in power and it maybe worth a couple horsepower but nothing like adding a set of long tube headers.... those you can actually feel the difference.

If the price is right it may be a good deal. IMHO if you want some thing to go fast in there are better options out there than a 95 ford f150. I would love to have a rebuilt engine to put in my trucks, but not to go fast in.

I'm not so concerned about fast but a well designed motor would be nice to get some torque and a little acceleration and still be able to cruise the highway and idle without issue. My mustang does fast just fine. But it can haul a load or get me through severe weather.

a 5.0 isnt really 5 liters, it is really only 4.948l, BUT a 4.9l is really a 4.9l, lol
