There's tons of different kinds out there, all pending how much you want to spend. I put a Flowmaster 44 series on my 93 and it sounds decent. Not really loud since it's just a 4.9 L6 engine but the duel exhaust looks good.

I have the summit 3" kit on mine and it sounds great. gotta lose the spare underneath, but what the hell, you're driving a pick up anyway. I did cut the cat out too though.

You dont need to lose the spare underneath...I have the 351 with flowtech shorties, no cats, and true dualed 45's out the back with thrush glasspacks.....if you want a mean sounding truck, do that

I went with the Flowtech headers, to magnaflow high flow cat, to magnaflow muffler to the stock tail pipe location. sounds quite till you get on it, also you get that "im not into attention just a nice sounding truck".

The majority of aftermarket exhaust systems will require the loss of the underneath spare tire. Custom fab stuff is a different story. Also if you run dual exhaust strait back on each side, you'll lose ground clearance because you'll have to go under the crossmember on the driver's side to avoid the t-case, and don't forget about the gas tank. If you have a 2wd, then there's nothing to worry about.
