Amen to that. I got some big elephant ears on my truck too. I'll get some small mirrors on of these days.

I'll be the one to rock the boat here though, I like my big ole mirrors. Yours look like they belong on a car. Besides, I can use mine to help pull myself up from getting out from under the truck lol

They do come in handy and I nobody sneaks up behind me with those things. I just like the looks of the smaller ones.

to be honest id like to switch to the big ones but i dont feel like putting holes in my doors...

Well I just replaced the those mirrors, I did not want to fill the holes and repaint so I just went back to the elephant ears. You can still buy the original swing away mirrors from ford for $85 each, they come with the hardware, threaded slugs, and a template to drill the bottom holes (the top holes are the same). They are a little spendy but way nicer than the repop mirrors. I am getting used to them they are rock solid and offer awesome visability.

Little higher. 4in to be exact
but this is an old pic, ive done a couple things since this was posted.
