Yeah I think that way too big. I drive 50+ a day in mine so i can't imagine that for a street truck. I'm about to run military's 500/set mount and balanced

Dear friends

I'm very glad to be here in a F-150 fans

I'd like to post a Picture of my Brazilian similar F-150 truck , called F-1000.

My truck is a Diesel truck (almost all F-1000 in Brasil is powerd by diesel engines - It's an optional from Factory. Ford build trucks with diesel engines, including Ford Ranger), with a MWM 4.10 T engine, 133cv@2800 rpms, 4,3L, 4x4. Now, this engine is called Maxxforce 4.3H because MWM is owned by Nav-International Truck & Engines.

Manual transmission EATON FSO2305B, TCase BW 1356, and Albarus Dana 60 rear axle and Dana 44 IFS in the front. 3,07:1 final drive.

Pictures!

Thanks very much and excuse-me my english!

Daniel

I think it is quite simple to import an engine like that. However, in USA you have a good option too: Cummins 4BT. I belive that it fits in front of our trucks.

In Brazil, it's common too replace the 4.9i gas engine to MWM Sprint 6.07 TCA, a high speed diesel, 6 cilinders, turbo intercoooler, 180cv@3400rpms.

The good thing is that you can use the same final ratio in the rear axle (there is no 4x4 gasoline model in Brazil).
