Just kidding James, it looks fabulous!!! How do you like those Cooper's? I've been thinking about those for when I change out the Michelins.

I will never buy anything ever again but coopers. That is how much I love them.

My advice is to wait until discounttiredirect has an ebay sale, then purchase them. Or sometimes ebay will have a site wide 20% off coupon. I think I paid $580 for my 32's on my truck along with a $75 mail in rebate. Took 3 days for delivery. Took them to my local discount tire and got them mounted and balanced for $80. The local shop wanted over $900 for them mounted and balanced.

Recently did the same thing for my edge. Got the tires for $490 shipped, going to get another $75 MIR, same price for install. Les Schwab wanted over $850. And the tires were on my doorstep the next day, which was pretty awesome.

Thanks sir, that's good info! I've got a local shop that carries Coopers, and he says he can get great pricing, so when the time comes I'll give him a try! Otherwise I'll go your same route!

And your truck looks great! You've really got that paint looking sharp, and I'm really glad it turned out well for you!

Thanks Clint - I spent the weekend working on the tailgate - the level of overspray and orange peel on it had finally driven me to take drastic measures. So I watched some videos and finally worked up the courage to take sandpaper to it. Needless to say I am very pleased with the results, and look forward to tackling several other areas on the truck that need some fine tuning. But it looks like I will be able to save 90% of it. The passenger side of the bed still needs to be re-shot no matter what. The idiot who painted it sanded right through to the primer, and it shows in several spots.

Testing a small area - you can see the overspray mess that was left behind when you look at the reflection of the bumper.

Lots of patience and really good sandpaper out to 2500 grit. Gives a mirror shine after polishing.

Here are a few of my '93. It was a total rustbucket when I got it last summer. Over the wheel wells were rotted out, hood paint had failed, front fenders rotted out, driver's side floor inside the cab rotted out, etc etc etc. Did a lot of work both inside the cab - new floor, seat covers - and outside on the body, wheels, bumpers, etc. Pretty happy with how it came out.
