I might hold onto it though and swap in a 351 like I was wanting to.
I was picturing you getting a panel van not a conversion.

Sean those old Chevy vans are great trucks. It is about one of the only Chevys I would get. We have one with the 305 under the hood and has treated us well minus the carburetor. Those carbs suck those years.

Yea I don't like carbs. Both of mine are fuel injected 350s, just TBI though. Getting 11 or 12 MPGs, as compared to the trucks 8 or 9.

Agh TBI better then carb but still not the best.
You are lucky my 85 G20 van with 305 gets 7 or 8 MPG but of course it does have a lot of upgrades through the engine and such.
