Thank you, i have a lot of time and money and hard work in this thing.I'm actually getting a custom emblem done, basicly the same as the original one except the blue will be black.......and I had a regular cab before this one that I re painted and lifted but didn't do any running gear work it was literally ALLblack ill post a pic

where are you getting the emblem made? iv been wanting one just like you mentioned, instead of blue, black.

A friend of mine is doing it. He said he can split the chrome back off of the clear front oval where the color is and remove the blue and paint in the black then put it back together. If you find a small enough flat head you can pop the clear oval out of the chrome oval amd its pretty self explanatory from there lol

ah that's what i heard ages ago but i didn't see any cracks to press a screw driver into, ill take a look again when its daylight and see if i can figure out it. thanks.

also nice reg cab, how much did it cost to repaint?

When I did my emblem I used a small pick and poked it through the plastic from behind to get the emblem off from the back. Worked great

small pick is easiest way of getting the cover off. i honestly have never done it but seen many friends do it...

My dad paints on the side as a hobby so when I get a project truck I just buy the materials and do all prep and body work myself and he sprays it
