^^^^ Sounds like a terrible place to go. I know where I work we NEVER stack weights and we NEVER put multiple weights in multiple places on each side. If it doesnt balance out we road force balance them and spin the tire on the rim till it gets into spec.

If they broke the stud I'd make them fix that too and afterwards find another tire shop.

$1700 in northern AZ. Vehicles are expensive up here.

I've never had any problems with this place before. They've always taken care of me when it comes to all my tire and alignment needs. This is the first bad experience. But I talked with a manage yesterday and I asked if I could get the tires re-balanced because A) they aren't... and B)the weights don't clear the caliper. I'll get the weights on the ouside of the wheel, but I'll take that over the annoying click on the sticky weight hitting my brakes.

They will be re-balanced for free, and I'm not going to let the same guy touch the truck this time.

The broken stud was replaced by them at no cost (as it should be)
