Shorty Header Fitment Question

I just installed a new engine in my 1995, when I bought it it came with the set of FR Shorty headers. The driver side fitment was off. The header exits about 4 inches closer to the firewall. I used a piece of flex pipe temporarily, and after the first the year will have a new y pipe made. My engine is the 5.0. Just curious if anyone has any experience with this. Could the headers be for a 5.8 or even a Bronco?

I saw your new engine thread. I was gonna ask if those headers fit the stock y-pipe.
I'm guessing it's not for the f150. From what I've been reading, one can get headers that fit the stock y-pipe. Do you have a pic of what you did to yours? I saw the last pic on the driver's side. Looks nice. Thinking of getting a rebuild this year (or a new-used engine) and since it is out, why not, get headers. So starting the research now.

Passenger side. No fitment issues. Along with headers I used Mr Gasket locking bolts, Percy's aluminum gaskets, DEI heat boots and a new set of wires because I tried using $20 heat boots to begin with. And in my case the exhaust modifications.
It does add up! Have to pay to play I guess.
Edit. I forgot some heat tape to protect the trans shift cable. Also some flex pipe and clamps so I could drive it to get the exhaust repaired.
