Default People running electric fans

What wire for key on power did you tap to turn on the relay? The only one I can find is the ignition coil wire, but to tap into it is over on the driver side, and there is verryy little room to do so thanks to it being part of the big harness there. Any suggestions?

You need a wie from bat. to a fuse and relay then to electric fans. and connect the relay to a thermo switch or just a toggle switch or both. i did both u can see my pics.

I know I can do it with a switch, Id just much rather have it kick on everytime I start the car, which is why I need a key on power wire to kick the relay over

you dont want the fan running the entire time the car is on...that defeats the purpose of the fan...the draw on the system defeats it...IE the load placed on the alternator diminishes the savings of the freeing up of the frictional losses...

I tapped into the coil wire to trigger the relay...add a temp switch and let it do its thing automatically...

if you leave the fan to run full time the life of the fan will be much shorter than normal..

Default My E-Fan wiring diagram

Hope this can help you. this its my E-Fan wiring set up. like i told u before i have mine runing from bat. to a distribution box ,to the fuse then to the relay and from the raley to the fan . power its there all the time but fans only turn on when thermo switch turns relay on. , I also install a bypass switch and LED ligth. the ligth it to see every time they'r on. u dont need it but i like to see when they on. The by pass swithc it like a safety switch. if something happend to the thermo switch or goes bad, as soon as i see temperature getting high i turn switch on and fans r on .its just a safty thing for me.
