Default seats!!!

So I've got my 1991 f150 single cab and I have a line on a set of seats from a 2007 dodge ram truck, just wondering if anyone has any experience in installing these seats into a ford truck? I can pick them up for 300, is it going to be worth it? Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

Is it worth it? I can't say, but I do know you will be drilling holes to mount the dodge seats because the brackets are certainly not going to match up. I personally have not tried it, but even the Ford seats don't always match up. Good luck!

With some fabrication I'm sure you could make them work but just curious as to why you'd want those exact seats? I'm sure you could get a halfway decent bench seat from a pick and pull and if need be could always reupholster it. Best of luck and if you do go through with the dodge seats post some pictures up when done. It's always interesting to see what people make work.

I have found that the easiest seats to transfer are the base model ford escape. Just a couple of hits with a hammer and they bolt right up. I wish I had pics.

I have installed a set of Probe seats in mine. I have not built brackets for them to sit exactly where they are supposed to, so I actually sit roughly 2" to the inside of my truck. It really bothers the wife on the street, but I have it figured out LOL. I will try to take pictures tomorrow, better clean up the truck first.
