How often can you seafoam? I did mine and it smoked like a bitch, but I don't think it's done either. Would it hurt it to try it again this weekend?

I usually pour half down the booster line and put half in my gas tank. Dont be suprised when you take off of all the smoke you will be blowing. When I did mine right after I bought it, it smoked like a mother and spit and sputtered for the first 1-2 miles. then it started running smooth and when I got back home with it, it was purring like a kitten. Stuff definately works!!

I poured 1/2 can into the booster hose and the rest into the tank I wasn't running on. Then, I put $40 in that tank and am running it out. I have yet to see any smoke, anywhere. After I put it into the gas tank, I did an oil change, then restarted the truck, so I know it had ample time to do it's thing. The only thing I can think of is that the previous owner must have done this shortly before selling me the truck, or so I hope. I also have yet to see any difference in the trucks idle or seat of the pants power output. Anybody have any thoughts on why no change?
I used 4qts of Rotella 15/40 oil and 1qt of Lucas oil stabilizer with the oil change, and a Motorcraft filter. Now I can hear a faint lifter tick. I wonder if I shouldn't have gone with 20/50 oil instead of the lighter weight. My truck has untold thousands of miles on it, but I'd guess that it's either 100k or 200k. Input?

Did you pre-warm the engine to normal operating temperature, before pouring into brake booster hose at Idle?

Did you immediately shut the engine off after pouring it in. Then wait 20 minutes before restarting?

I dont know how much is too much, but a buddy of mine dumps a whole can of it down the booster line every time he changes the oil. Hes been doing it for years and his truck is still running strong. And he has well over 200,000 on a 94.

Manufacturer instruct's 1/3 can introduced through Brake booster Vac hose. Any more at one time is not advisable. It either get's by the ring's or is forced out through exhaust, of worse, increased potential for inducing hydrolock condition.
