Default Speed Sensor -- Does It Adjust?

I'm having issues and will take a look this weekend. Obtain codes, clean IAC etc.. One thing I have not replaced is the Speed Sensor. I priced one and the guy behind the counter says that my year vehicle doesn't require adjustment (1993 5.0 ). Haynes says it does and Ramblinwilly is confused!!

Choose the best answer
1. Haynes is correct.
2. Guy behind counter is correct.
3. Ramblinwilly drinks to much. He will always be confused.

My bad. I meant TPS. I've read a number of posts on this and still have the same question.
Thanks.

Some are some are not if yours has a slotted hole on it does if not it doesn't.

When you put it on always rotate it clockwise with the plug toward the IAC on 5.0's and 5.8's, if you rotate it the other way they could have a high idle.
