Running rough, stalling while hot
I have a 1989 v8 Ford f-150 5.8 XLT Lariat. Starts like a champ, when it idles down is begins to run rough but make it to the highway for a 30 minute drive and runs pretty smooth. Once I get off the high way and hit a light, stop sign or parking spot it completely dies and shuts off... No power steering is tough.
When I try to restart, the engine turns over real slow. I try this multiple times for 5 minutes then it starts right up again and it will stall out at the next light, etc. if I make it to the highway I can drive another 30 minutes home. Please see my YouTube videos of the issues.
I have replace the fuel regulator, filter and pump, o2 sensor, plugs, wires, cap.
No luck, please help.
Thanks,
Luke

Disconnect your throttle Position Sensor lead, see if it changes or almost stalls out. Mine was doing that and it was also hard to start sometimes because it was not releasing the compression in the engine making it hard for the starter to turn over. Put a new TPS in mine and she ran smooth as glass.
