Default Rough Country 2.5" 2WD- Before/After

OK--never could find a good pic of before/after of Rough Country 2.5" suspension lift on a shortbed F150--

soooo here they are--

Don't believe ANYONE that tells you lifting an I-beam 2wd is easy--slow process, but I think worth it..Just need a major alignment now--WAY too much positive camber....will need adjustable camber bushings for sure....

BTW--BEFORE picture was with 1.25" Gabriel spring shocks on front to level it.....

Anyways--enjoy....DOUG

thanks--belongs to my 17 yr old--his truck, his money, his work, and I help him--also notice the rear is about 1" to 1.25" low right now relative to front--prob due to rear leafs being 1987's still and a little saggy...?!?!

He wanted the 4x4 look w/out the 4x4--guess its an aftermarket "4x2"?

Doug
get a small lift block to space out the leaf unless the kit you did was a block. if this is the case and you want it taller, just get a taller block.

That looks good! Can you give me more information on the shocks you used to level it? I've never heard that done but it does look good!

Good looking truck, it looks like a 4x4.

Sharp paint job!

my back end sits about that high stock, thats kinda wierd. did you use the coil shocks that autozone has to level it? http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...515_77458_7413_

On those shocks with coils over them, do you just replace your shock with that and leave your original spring alone? Those are a lot cheaper way to level the front.
