No it doesn't. It says reverse because it's harder to roll but it will still roll. Read a little closer, it also says to set the parking brake.

hader to roll can still roll meh LOL my E brake is fried by now anyways so its just r for me Although i never really park on hills or streets for that matter

I just put it in 1st or reverse and chock the tires so it won't roll. I'm still trying to find that damn e brake Cable equalizer and I'm still trying to get it.

I looked around and saw how hard they were to find and ended up just making one out of some scrap steel I had setting around. A couple of minutes with a drill and hacksaw and I was set.
